my Dad called them Little Bandits. he killed himself last year. one of my best memories of him is when he pointed out one in the back scurryring around strangely and having done much wildlife work i knew the problem immediately, and i couldn't believe he noticed and told me, i so rarely gave him enough credit. the critter had fallen from a tree and was temprally paralyzed, happens often. the shame is when the paralyzation doesn't go away.

i took so many shots when my dad was in a coma. for a lot of reasons. what do you think of the idea of using them somehow for awareness and do you have any ideas related as to how i could start that here? i know forums, but i am asking you first, cuz ......

what scares me is for so many it seems living is easy with eyes wide open looking right upon the worst terrors. Right now I am reminded of Theresienstadt, a show concentration camp given a pleasing outer facade not very convincing at all but o many wanted to not see while seeing (aside from the fact that not just Hitler was an anti-semite the world was largely -- far less, but still -- anti-semitic at the time).
